Fawking shitbag drag tracks:

The only track thats close to mjy city and within reasonable towing fees sucks balls. They raised prices and charge 5 bucks to spectators, dont run VHT half the time and never clean the rubber off the track. Long story short my 2.360foots giave me a 13.7 @ a slow as balls 101, last year i ran 13.5 at 105. I couldnt even run the right side of the track cause the damned shutdown area is so rough it pulls my car all over the road.

How are the tracks where you guys live?

Re: Fawking shitbag drag tracks:

i have two that are close.. Ceicl county drag way and capitla..

Never been to capital but ceicl is ok.
They dont use VHT for us fri night racers, but they clean the track reguarly, and take good care of it for the real races, and for special events. shut down is fine, the only issue is for me sowing from 110 115 mph with stock brakes is hard, and its a ------- Uturn from hell at the end of the track..

Re: Fawking shitbag drag tracks:

$7/head whether you race or not.

VHT only goes on the track when there's a big race, never for test and tune.

You can sit passenger in a 4 second car with no helmet and a pint of liquor between your legs and nobody says ---- to you.

The track I go to suck balls also. Easily 10 second honda running 12s but trapping 130+ mph.

New England Dragway is excellent! Its 10 dollars a spec and 20 to race as many times as you want! The town of residence get in for free, and theres coupons floating around everywhere that people use for larger events. Street nights are Wensday and Friday and the track is always maintained! >:D

NYIRP here in Upsate NY, $10 test/tune, pretty lax on the regulations. Pretty good track prep for any car that runs above a 9. Anything lower and they tend to skate.

PIR (Portland International Raceway) has Friday and Saturday night drags from 6pm to 12.... $8 to watch, $25 to race. While people bitch about the staging area, the rest of the track is brand new. So even with the rocks that the sticky tires drag up, it is pretty nice.

Woodburn Dragstrip (located in Woodburn, about 20 miles south of Portland) is a professional strip and $25 to race usually. Very well kept.

Re: Fawking shitbag drag tracks:

damn, guess i got it good. im 30 minutes from bandimere. downhill rolling staging lanes, uphill shutdown with plenty of room to slow down, track is well maintained, unless its test n tune or a street tire radial night. they only prep on those nights if someone oils. and real race days they prep the ---- out of it. only thing that suck is the place isnt cheap. 30 bucks for test n tune, 35 for club clash (another street car class), usually 40-45 for most other classes. but spectating is usually 10+, and half the time you gotta pay to park in the pits.

Im about 15 mins from Bradenton Motorsports Park in Florida. Im sure you've heard of it if you watch Pass Time on speed, about the entire first season was filmed there. Plus ALOT of big events come here. Sea level, clean track, even on test and tune they VHT the track and are great about safety and inspecting the track. they just upped the price to 12 to get watch and 22 to run. The shutdown is pretty clean and with my slow ass trap speeds you've got tons of room to slow down unless you plan on making the first turn-off. Plus if anything happens to fail, youve got nothing but a cow pasture for about half a mile after the track. ---- brick walls.

Re: Fawking shitbag drag tracks:

The only track I've been to around here is US 41 dragway. I just went for a test and tune, and it was really pretty gay. It probably wouldn't have been so bad if my car was set up to use drag radials or slicks, because they hosed the ---- out of the water box area preventing any attempt at driving around it. This resulted in no traction until 3rd gear on a N/A B16, granted my suspension was all fucked up and out of alignment, rolling on some heavy ass ricer wheels and 205/40/16 cumhoes. Still managed a 2.2 60' though.

Didn't some duchebag on this site say that a N/A B16 is worthless? Even though he was a retard I still agree with that. I can't imagine having traction problems after 1st gear with a b16

I think that's the only thing that douchebag has ever gotten right.
