the facts about colder plugs for the d-16.

i work at advance auto parts here andi have colder plugs in my turbo civic. if u want colder ngk plug the number goes higher. 6-7 if u want colder american plugs the number goes down. not that that really matters about the american plug. for a one colder plug u want the part number
# 3330 bcpr7es standard ngk
# 3733 bcpr3ev platnum ngk

they are both listed at parts store for stock replacement for a 1990 Saab 9000 turbo hard driving plug

Is there a negative side affect to using colder plugs when maybe you dont need them, or should you just go get the colder ones for the ---- of it?

Hey fastrex, so those ngk plugs for the Saab 9000 will drop right into a crx/civic. Are they the same, i'm guessing so. cuz if they are then i'll probably be getting those then...thanks for the info
