F22b2 turbo build
ok guys i have many questions for my up and coming turbo build.....now to start off this is a 94 accord lx coupe 5 speed with 246xxx miles on it and has always been maintained i currently have the turbo and spark plugs for this build.
Engine Build im doing the f22a6 head swap with the a6 runners and h23a1 upper half for better flow and more horsepower. as for rods and pistons im doing the exact thing as this guy http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2546957 4g63 stroker pistons and h22 rods its a straight plug and play also skunk2 cam gear and oem head gasket set
Now on to my questions im doing my turbo build around 400hp/350whp according to the research i have done i will be the only accord guy with this motor to push it that far the highest i have seen is 365hp from a guy on honda-tech.com^^^^ with an f22b2 motor in a civic everybody else with 400hp or more did it with an h22
1.What would be the best intercooler and piping to support 400hp?
2.I need a manifold that wont crack and last for 400hp and daily drive would a dsm manifold hold up to this?
3.this is a budget build im trying to keep it under $2500 so used quality parts is a must im always looking and searching the for sale thread for good parts
4.Im trying to be different i dont want to hear swap in the h22 or anything like that every accord owner that i know of has an H22 motor there is a select few that has this motor and built it right! i wanna be part of that select few! so please help me with this.....im constantly researching and i ask all these questions for more info and knowledge on my part
