a/f meter reading....what should it be

Okay okay i know a/f gauge's suck ass....but still they are something to go off of for the most part.. I have a h22a4 which i have recently boosted and am running uberdata..

When boosting at 6psi the meter reads full stoich/first bar of rich....

When crusing on highway it reads straight up like 50%-70% stoich.....

Is that okay...or should i be reading like 30-50% rich when at 6psi.....i was thinkn these readings are a little lean...but wiht standalone maybe its okay.....i wish i could tell...

Don't even look at the gauge unless you are at WOT. That's the only way it will give anything close to an accurate reading.

I would say so, but you never know what's really going on with that gauge. I wouldn't feel safe at that reading. :-\

i thought a good air fuel ratio for turbo is about 2 bars rich. yeah 2 bars rich is a pretty good/safe spot. add a bit more fuel, rather be safe that sorry right?!?

Narrowband O2 sensors are not accurate enough to be trusted. You'd probably do just as well to have a mirror so you could see the colour of your header/turbo. Maybe you could get an EGT installed and use that to tune.

If your still using the narrow band 02 it won't do anything different than the Autometer A/F gauge.

if you don't care too much about squeezing that last bit of power, just make sure you're rich and not pinging and you'll be fine.
