So i just so happened to have some 1.5" exhaust tubing (mandrel) around the shop.
I've ordered 38mm flanges and flex tubes...
Can you get 1.5" exhaust couplers? Having trouble finding them - basically if I want to join two 1.5" pipes.. I can butt weld, but it's not as strong or as easy.

 

You can get 1.5" couplers, any auto parts store should carry them.

EGTs can reach over 1400 degrees... I don't think silicone is going to cut it.
How do you guys typically flange this in with main exhaust? I'd like to be able to pull it out.. Any photos?

 

local parts store should have it...as far as the silicone couplers..some people like the smell of melting silicone
