for 200 bucks you can get something nice, like a 35/38 mm tial . or cheaper for a used one.

I recently purchased a 38 mill Tial brand new in the box for NZ $300.
For USA $200 u should have no problems finding a good used one or newish.

Cant wait to hear what this one sounds like.. ;)

thats pimpshit with that audi wastegate....but i have a JGS turbo manifold...this isnt a honda...its a 240sx KA dual cam motor with a t4 turbo. i got the turbo brand new for 120 bux....the manifold for 150 and since the audi wastegate has a different flange i wouldnt be able to use it...i have a flange for a tial style 35/38mm flange...but i can use any brand...i know this is prolly the last question you want to hear but what about the SS autochrome wastegates...I KNOW there manifolds are crap...but i havent heard about there wastegates...if i can get some good response then id consider one...but i dont want to buy one unless they work.

when you say modify the spring....what are you actually doing for modifcations? and it doesnt look like there is enough metal there to cut off the stock flange and weld on a new one...i guess i could try if it were only 50 bucks...where can i aquire one at?
