Default External wastegate...... HELP! SEARCHED!

Well, I just wanted to know how do i change a T3 turbo with internal wastegate with internal WG flange to a external wastegate? Do i supppose to weld the WG hole up or what? I'm a bit confuse?

you ditch the wg housing that connects to your dp with the flapper assembly, and get a block off flange like this....

it blocks off the hole where the internal wg flapper goes and you just fabricate your dp off of this instead.

or u can jus disconnect the wg vaccume? wouldn't that work? that's what i did... mine had an adjustable rod so i tightened the ---- outta it and disconnected the vaccume line to the wg. less work then redoing the whole downpipe again =x

THe only problem with that is if you want to run high boost (12psi+)...no matter how tight you get that internal...the pressure will eventually push by...but hey, if it works, that's all that matters...all that will happen is that you can't raise the boost any more...
