10mm x 1.0 is the fitting size for the real tial 38's....so i assume its the same for the knockoffs

It should come with 2 fittings. One for the top port and one for the side port.

Use the top port for an electronic boost controller, and the side port for a manual boost controller. Learn you some abbreviations, fool.

Then you hook the side port to any place where it can read the boost. Do you not understand the way a wastegate functions?
Basically, at a specified boost level, the wastegate opens and diverts exhaust away from the turbo. This keeps you from building boost beyond whatever you set the tune at. Your wastegate has to know the boost level. It does this by reading pressure off of a vacuum/boost line. When the level of boost that your wastegate is set at (whatever spring is in it) is reached, the pressure in the vacuum line presses down the spring, opening the wastegate.

So, if you don't use an MBC or EBC, your boost pressure will be your wastegate spring pressure. Just run a line from the nipple on the turbo to the side port of your WG.
