external wastegate
would there be any advantage of having a manifold with an external wg along with an internally gated turbo? call me stupid for contemplating two wastegates but i do not want to change manifolds when upgrading from internally gated t3 to t3/t4.

yeah youll just have to block of it External WG hole on the manifold

I'd use the external wastegate.. its alot easier to use and less problems. just use a 5 bolt downpipe flange that covers the internal gate hole.

Maybe I just had bad luck with the internal, but it seemed like colder weather = more boost Also I'd consistently get ~2+ psi if I made boost build quicky, then it'd fall off to it's set amount.
I've used externals on 2 setups and never had any of those problems. Plus it sounds meaner :P |
