I have been working on another car now since the integra got boosted right out of the box into the 13's. I am working with a 91 Saturn SC2 and I wanted to know. Has anyone ditched the stock fuel supply system for an external device to increase the fuel volume and pressure coming from the tank to the rail?

I am looking for this last bit of help on the fuel delivery side before boosting the SC. also, it does have a returning fuel system like the integra LS and other honda/acuras.

Those that do upgrade just go to a high volume intank pump. Usually a 255. Bolt right in on most apps. in place of stock pump. Personally, I don't know dick about Saturns, but I would recommend upgradeing none the less. Ebay... Walbro, $99, i think.

Unless you wanna run low 11's, a walbro 190lph is prob better, you might "over run" the stock FPR with a walbro255..

 

that's a good point, that's why you should upgrade fpr too. b+m adjustable fpr, walbro pump, z6 fuel rail, on my a6. That ---- does make a difference. The extra 4 psi from fpr helped my ride ot alot with it's bogging off the line problem.

The B&M FPR wasn't supposed to be able to reduce fuel presure, only increase it, but mine can drop the FP down to 22psi on my stock pump, but if the pump is already able to out power the regulator, a B&M is going to help you..

190lph would be fine on 90% of the SOHC turbo civics...

 

am i right in thinking that the B&M will work for ANY aplication that has an FPR?

Everytime I've installed a Walbro 255, the stock pressure regulator works like a champ and does not over fuel the engine. But since this is a "saturn" and who knows how squirley the fuel system is, hunchback is right, I would probably go with a 190. It will deliver plenty of fuel.
