Default external fuel pumps and FMU's?

i'm plannin to use an FMU on my setup, i know the stock fuel pump will flow enough fuel for my power goals if i where using an EMS... but i don't trust the stock pump with an FMU... my question is... will an external booster pump (MSD 255lph in this case) work ok with in-line with the stock fuel pump or should i just brake down and do either a surge tank or replace the in-tank pump?

thanks

its just easier to change out the pump in the tank...in the long run u will benefit from it...i did...my stock fuel pump couldnt keep up after 5psi and it had to go...the inline will help for now but not solve the problem when u want to push more than 10psi.

i have no plans for going over the stock 8psi the turbo is set to...

thanks for the input though... guess i'll hafta decide...
