experince with h23 turbo

Alright so Im new to all of this.

I have a 95 prelude. 2.3 DOHC non-vtec. and im throwing together a turbo setup. Ive read and realized that the manifold from the DSM has a similar bolt pattern and picked one up from a local junk yard, and re-drilled the holes. While i was there i got a downpipe from a DSM and i purchased a t25 garrett turbo off ebay.

I know i need to get bigger injectors, any recomendations?
Also i plan to get a walboro 255 fuel pump.
and im working on getting an intercooler.

should i get the ecu chipped or go ahead and get an fmu?
and how much boost would be safe on stock internals?

thanks alot!

Re: experince with h23 turbo

damn, you have tons of learning to do.

first off, I recommend you get a bigger turbo. That t25 is WAY too small for that h23. F22's max them out before 5k all the time, you're gona max it out sooner.

get some dsm blue top 450cc injectors
and go with a chipped p06 w/ uberdata

i dont really know on how much boost is safe with the h23's because ive heard that they have the same sleeves as the h22, and ive heard that they dont. If they have the same sleeves as the h22's, then I wouldnt go past 8psi, with a good tune. If it has iron sleeves(some people say it has same sleeves as f22), then you can go over 12psi with a good tune.
i duno, you should research about your block.

the h23 is a good turbo motor and stock i would say it would be safe at about 10-12 on a good tune if not a little more

i appreciate the input alot!

any of you H23 guys that can help me out a little more?
any advic is great help.

are the blue top injectors from the stock dsm's?
and how much are we talking for the chipped ecu?
please explain that a little better.

i was planning on running around 8psi then maybe upgrading the internals later. just trying to get it going.

thanks once again.

ecu chipping cost like $75 or whatever you can get somebody to do it for
t25 is not going to work
blue tops are from turbo dsm's
ahh this is a waste of time
go reseach this stuff
