eversince i installed my turbo my car smells like gas!!??
 

ok eversince i installed my turbo ive been smelling gas often!!!!
i checked the fuel pump and its not leaking!
car is not tuned and is running rich.
it doesnt have a full exhaust the DP cuts off right under the turbo so im guessing that all the smell the DP is dumbing is what im smelling!??

what can it be???
no fuel injectors leak..no fuel pump leak .....and not a gas tank leak either???? what can it be?

yeah dude because my mileage is doing good when i stay off the boost.
and also do you think my ---- isnt blowing off if my WG spring is too small.!???n its showing only 2lbs of boost on the gauge so im guessing that would be it . my buddy told me that was the problem cause he had the same problem

im not sure what you mean by blowing off if you mean your blow off valve is not making a noise its becuasse there is not much to blow off

Sounds like you shouldn't even have a turbo on your vehicle. Exactly how long is your DP? And oh yeah thats going to be where the smell is coming from. If its too short I hope you like warped valves :l

dude im stock no tune no chip no nothing! im getting it chipped this month and a tune and im putting in my injectors then so ima be running around 10 -12 psi
the spring is really small its only in there so i can run it as my daily driver with out blowing ---- up.....

how is your pcv setup???? If you put your heater on recycle and roll up your windows do you get the smell then???? Is it all the time or just when you are in boost?

Pinch off your stock return fuel line. Then, you'll be able to crank up the boost and smell all the fuel you want. :S

not to an ass master but i run 9 psi and it wouldnt be quite as fun if it didnt go pssst. but i do agree what the hell is two pounds i beleive the car has 1 pound stock should of bought a electric turbo thingy.lol

Mine smells like gas.

It's called unburnt fuel comming out of your exhaust. Deal with it or run a full exhaust and a cat. Anything less than 3' of downpipe is asking for trouble down the line. I ran a foot and a half. That probably caused my turbo to crack. ---- got hot QUICK.
