Engine bay cleanng...Alabama style *PICS & VID*

Sorry no pics yet, but I SHOULD have a video soon.

I started pulling my motor in order to do a swap because of my bad front-main seal. After pulling the motor we noticed the extraordinary amount of gunk in the engine bay. We needed a pressure washer, but I didnt want to mess my buddy's driveway up. Couldnt drive to the car wash because there wasnt a motor in the car so we did the next best thing and pushed the car to the carwash...in traffic. It was funny. Car had no hood and no engine and we had about 5-6 people pushing it. Got a bunch of weird looks from people. Good times.

Thanks. A wise man once told me: The right tool is the one that works.

The car wash probably wasnt more than 1/8th of a mile away and it was SOOOOO worth it. I must have lost a good 4lbs of sludge thanks to a gallon and a half of 'purple power' and some high pressure water.

holy ---- you've got some dedicated friends, my friends would have told me to eat a dick if i told them to push my car as fast as they could for an 1/8 of a mile. yeah, that's how i clean mine with the engine in the car too. teh pressure washer owns engine grime ;D

Well, I think they were eager to help because I've spent most of my spare time on thie cars the past few months. Turbo installs, motor swaps, brake work, electronics installs, etc.

Its really nice to have lots of help. The swap is going pretty smooth so far. Gonna go pick up the flywheel this afternoon and hopefully get the motor 90% ready to install
