Default electronic superchargers

hey i was just wondering if i get one of these e-chargers do i need to get a new computer to be able to handle the boost and also where does the bov go on that thing. will i need an intercooler. any information will be appreciated

E-chargers are a waste of money...you'll be lucky to see a 10hp gain if that....i tired one and its a complete bogus idea

Here is the power consumption chart for a very small Eaton blower (the M45 which is an OK size for a honda)

Let's say an electric motor push the same air with 1/2 the power, a 5hp motor would take us to about 1/2 the SC's flow range. What does a 5hp electric motor look like?

There have been some highly geared one shot electric SC's, but the amount of batteries required to handle the demand made it not worth the limited power boost you would get, not to mention the recharge time.

It is easy to flow huge CFM, just look at the 1200CFM radiator fans. Compressing that much air takes large amounts of energy that must come from the crankshaft or exhaust.

So, no, they don't work. They sell because people are dumb.
