There's a company called BMC racing who used to advertise on this site (he might still) but he makes some quality log manifolds for the same price as the ssautoshit |

bmcrace.com the guy is really nice. i just ordered one of the d series log manifolds he makes. 200 bux with external wastegate is damn good. i recommend getting one from him

anyway, ive never heard anything good about these manifolds. some people brace them. dont know if that works or not tho. |

the wastegates are good, i run one and a lot of other people do too with no problems. i wouldn't trust the turbo's though. i've heard bad things about them, and even though they have a 'warranty' ::) i've never once heard of anyone getting reimbursed from him. his wg's are the only thing i would suggest, but hell, for a couple bucks more, you can have a real tial. the only reason i got mine is b/c i found it on groupbuycenter.com for 160 shipped.

thre was a post about a guys ls turbo kit. he bought a turbo that looked like it was from that guy on ebay. and he had a problem with the nut coming off the compressor wheel. they are suppose to be brand new. ---- like that doesnt happen. i have a t3 from a 1985 saab that probably works better than his ----

most of the people who say bad things about him have never used his products and go based on rummors they heard on the internet. i have the turbo, manifold, and gate from him and all three work great. just be sure to properly support your downpipe so your exhuast system isn't hanging off the turbo.

I'm scared to sell it because I know it's going to fall apart. I'm just waiting for it to happen. I have seen SEVERAL posts, and SEVERAL pictures of his busted up manifolds and turbos. It seems like the only thing that actually works are the wastegates. These aren't rumors they're known experiences. You know how many pics are out there of broken autoshit manifolds? My friend bought one and I told him not to. Suprise suprise the one runner cracked ::) And for the turbo go look in the GD where the ------- compressor nut fell off. ::) Again, thats no rumor. Sure you can say his products are great when they're just sitting on an engine stand not in use but wait 3 months till you gotta redo everything... |

hate all you want. they work awsome and have worked awsome. the motor went into my girlfriends car and everything has held up fine. you have no idea who i am, i was doing this ---- when your mom was cutting you milk money checks beoch!
my first "home made turbo" setup was in 1998, long before you watched "fast and the furious" and jumped on the import band wagon buddy! hahaha look i can flame too! anyways, the guy asked for an opinion so i gave him mine. some people have had bad luck with his products, i havn't. i used a header of his for over a year and guess what? no cracks, no breaks. |
