The cheap manifold the kit comes with is probably way better than an OBX manfiold, for the most part OBX stuff is expensive garbage. You would probably be better off just peicing together a turbo kit. With some slight modification you can use a DSM exhaust manfiold (Mitsubishi Eclipse/Eagle Talon/Plymouth Laser) on the F-series motors. That means you can also use a turbo off a DSM. A 14b turbo off of a 1st gen DSM can be found in good shape for around $100. Then just figure out what blow off valve, intercooler, and what your gonna use for engine management. The DSM turbo's have an internal wastegate, and if i remember right the stock spring is set to 7psi (I may be wrong, theres a guide on here that can tell you). That 7psi is probably the perfect amount of boost for your internally stock F22, but I really couldnt tell you because im a D-series guy myself. If your feeling brave you could always pick up a manual boost controller for pretty cheap and turn the boost up, but I wouldnt' reccomend it on a stock block. For intercooler pipes you can just pick up some mandrel bent pipes from summit racing or do what im about to do and just use crush bent exhaust piping from auto zone like im about to do (i work there so i get a discount). All in all if you do some research youll find you can do a much nicer set up for less money.
