Default Ebay clutches

Anybody have sucess with an ebay clutch. I dont want to smoke a stock clutch in 3 days this time. If you buy them from any normal distributor they are way high and im going for budget boost.

also im thinking that the 88-90-91 SI civ/crx all have the same clutch but its the 89 that has a diffent number of splines on the output shaft. Can sombody clear that up for me? Anyway of telling what year i have without pulling that tranny?

I almost bought one but thought about the warrenty issue. I'd spend the extra 20 bucks. or so and when it went out would like to go around the corner and get an exchange.

If you want a clutch thats tried and true why don't you go through 88 Turbo Crx and get a Clutch Specialties. Setup looks similiar to the Pro Clutches.

i bought an exceddy race clutch kit w/bearing/pres.plate
275-300hp rated for $274.shipped. the $100 exceddy clutches
are direct factory replacements so don't buy those. it grips like a monkey on a donkey. it's also harder to press in the clutch pedal with this clutch too.
