It did blow. But whats the big deal ?

I forgot my fan switch off and the engine was idling for about 10 mins while overheating. When I noticed the temp gauge pinned it was too late and already knocking. I let it cool off and I attempted to make another pass but it overheated in the burnout box and I just packed my ---- and left.

Car went 11.3 @124, missed 3rd gear though. Also went 11.4@122, missed third again. Car was feeling very healthy.

Attempted to drive the car home but it lost all oil pressure and started to sound like a construction site as my brother described it.
Car is now at my shop, been a long day. If I have time Ill tear it apart tomorrow.

Pm me if you have any spare z6 blocks and cranks in good condition.

 

Joe I call about 16 people no one his any a6 or z6 blocks. A few d17 blocks

 

I have 2 but I'm ------- far away so shipping is a bust.

That's why I wire my fan to switched power if the oem switch doesn't work.

I doubt a main went out I can rip the crank out of the a6 if that is what you need. I need to take it apart anyway

 

Fan was wired hot when ignition on.

BUT I run a lawnmower battery and the fan was killing it on start up.

Added a switch a couple weeks ago.

A6 crank sounds good to me. Let me know how much shipped to 10461 Chris. Thanks dude.
