Default dumptudes?

i know this is a noob question but can some one explain to me what a dumptude is/ and does?

Dumptube? Takes the exhaust gasses from the wastegate and dumps them wherever you tell it to, wheter it be into the atmosphere or your downpipe.

Yes if u have an internal it should dump into ur exhaust, if u have the stock exhaust downpipe piece

eh, you can go either way, i am internally gated and run open dumptube.

just preference really

If your power crazy and want a little extra, run open dump tube. Its loud and the gases and such get everwhere, but i think its worth it.

so a dumptude is the same thing as a downtube?

dumptube goes AFTER the wastegate, once the wastegate opens up to regulate boost level. excessive exhaust gas/pressure goes out through the dumptube.

downtubedownpipe goes right after the turbo, where all the exhaust gas from your engine goes. which then connects to your cat/muffler.
