Dual SMIC

i was just curious, i havent purchased a vehicle yet but i'm looking at an Eagle Talon TSI or something of DSM performance(this is would be my second car, i have a classic mustang that is not a good daily driver). I was wondering, is it entirely possible to run dual smics to have better cooling, but keep it looking almost entirely stock, not that i really care, but i dont really want people to know i have a turbo. Especially since my dad might be paying half of the car, he wont appreciate me "blowing it up" faster. Although i doubt he'd notice a fmic anyways. But seriously i just wanna know if its possible...

Sure it's possible. If you're increasing your horsepower enough though then it would be pointless. Your best bet would be to spray paint a FMIC black and hide it behind the bumper cover.

Companies like Hahn and Dejon make larger sidemounts that will replace the stock one, and cool a lot better then the stock one. Otherwise you can do a hacker/tweaker method and pick up a cheap supra sidemount and install that in there with some ingenuity. My buddies shop LSE builds upgraded sidemounts for 3SI's, and runs dual sidemounts in his Stealth. He's made just over 400hp with them until broke a rod. He barely even got to tap into the power his setup has to offer. His fully built motor should be completely installed by Friday, and he'll be shooting for the stars HP wise, with his dual sidemounts.

Yup, if I were you i'd get something else if you're looking for a daily driver. They are easy as hell to make fast, and they are real fun cars... when they are running that is. :-\
