dsm t25 coolant lines

Default dsm t25 coolant lines

how important are the coolant line on the dsm turbo? do i have to hook them up or will my turbo d16 run fine just as without them?

There once was no coolant lines to any turbo. As long as you have about 35psi oil to it ...it will be just fine.

I ran a KKK with water cooled center section for 3 years without coolant to it.

Agreed, the only reason Mitsubishi, then KKK and Garrett, added coolant to the CHRA was to help with longevity and to help lower the chance of the oil coking in the bearing assembly over the life span of an OEM turbo which is usually figured as 100,000 miles.

get two t taps and some coolant hose total cost is about 30 bucks with clamps and all, im running mine t tapped off the back where the iac coolant lines go .

You don't have to plug them if you don't want to, just remember that they are going to get ---- in them, so don't ever use them again with a proper flush first.

somestock cars run water and oiled cooled, but u dont need the coolant if ur running the oil
