DSM Sidemount and DSM BOV use on crx?
 

Ok, I can not find a decent priced intercooler other than the sidemount dsm intercoolers. I have a 14b turbo, and will be running it on a d16a6. Which was better 1g or 2g? Can I run it up front, or change the inlet/outlet on them?

As well, I plan on running a dsm 1g bov, any comments about that?

Also, is the stock internal wastegate on the fucker set at 11psi? How the hell am I going to change that.

as for your question that no one answered....the 1g has a thicker core but has smaller inlets i think...i have one laying around i might use..looks decent

Thanks man, and as for the lazy ------- douchebags. There was a reason the question about the wastegate wasn't in the title. I figured, that someone who wasn't 12 years old, would be able to answer my other legitiment questions, and that one would just be a quick and easy answer. It would save me from searching, but not waste a thread on it. Apologies for my rudeness, but IMO, there is no room for ignorance on a site that is meant to help people out. Apparently you guys have no idea about my answer anyways, so why waste a post?

Actually.. I do know the answers to your questions. And further more, I have that exact same setup.

Why waste a thread when you could have just SEARCHED and found that these questions had already been answered "ump-teen" times before.

Get off YOUR lazy ass and research. No one is here to spoon feed you. If you can't even click a button and type in 2 words for what you're looking for, then you'll never get your kit install. YOU, sir, need to be more resourceful and stop expecting people to hold your ------' hand.

I have been a Mod on different boards, and know your guys troubles, however, I feel that your "remarks" were not justified. Lets look at my question

For this question, you could tell me which is better, like the one guy did, and with a reason. Than you could tell me what material the dsm intercooler end tanks are made of, so I know if I can weld it, or if I have to get off MY lazy ass, go down to the machine shop and use a damn Tig. Also, you go link to another thread showing that shows this done and explains it, running it up front I mean.

Well, see, that did take quite a while, and I could not find that info as easily as you did, cause I had no idea what to search for. However, now that you have answered my questions, I know, and in the future, can help out others. Honestly, the answer to my question was easy, but it was still a legitiment question, and did not deserve the comments it got.

Here, an example.

1g intercoolers had bigger cores, but smaller inlets/outlets, and can be changed easily. The 1g dsm bovs were metal, and will work great, I even have one. The 2g bovs were plastic, and could leak. so really, you could have ended all of this simply with one paragraph, and that info would have taken me a VERY long time to come across, so why not help out and help guide someone new to this dsm turbo stuff.... Some of you people are some smart A$$es >:(

As for the DSM intercooler, I see no way to put that under a CRX Bumper. It's very complex. I've tried and tried... doesnt work. Seen one guy use it in the place of the resonator if that helps.

Thanks man, that does help big time. I wanted to put it up front, but at least now I am prepared for that to not work, and I will check out fitment where the resonator box is. I'll find a place for it ;) I'll also get pics etc when I'm done, in another month or so.
