Default DSM Injectors don't work with D-Series Motors

I'm PISSED! Whoever the ---- said DSM Injectors work with D-Series motors needs to be shot in the ------ head! I've done everything I can to make the injectors fit and they don't. The plug does not even come close to matching the injector. So take my advice and don't try to install blue top dsm injectors on your civic.

------ nOOBie, you have to "customize" them. you can't just take them and try and put them in. take your old injector seals and bore them out a little so that they will fit around the DSM's then "customize" the plugs (read that as "hack them so they fit"). that should work.

next time read the tech article before posting stupid ---- about how they don't work with the D when about 95% of people on this site are running them right now.

now goto the general forum and post **** to make up for it .

They plug and play on my EF except for the rubber seals that needs to be bored out a bit.
OBD0 plugs fits without any mod's...on OBD1 you need to take of a piece from the injector plugs...

Seals are not the problem...it's the fact that I will have to grind almost all of the plastic off of the injector to make it fit. I did everything the tech article told me to do and it doesn't work. You guys mentioned OBD0 and OBD1 what about OBDII which is what I am with my Y8? Also the pins in the DSM injectors or almost twice as wide as the pins in my Y8's injectors.

Wow before you spout off like a complete ------- retard do more research. I have a 96 hatch with a Y8 intake on a Y7 and my DSM 450's fit fine. Grind the seals. change to an OBDI injector clip. Maybe you should take your car somewhere to have the work done. It may not be safe to drive if you finish it!

i have a 99 with a Y8 and mine fit perfectly after hacking them up a little.

you have to take the little blue thing out of the inside of the clip. i hacked mine up pretty good but i electrical taped them biaaatches in . maybe i'll get some OBD1 clips someday but probly not anytime soon since they still work.

Yep. Pluged right in on my ef. i just put the seals to s drill press and just worked it around the bit. i think it was the easiest thing on the whole turbo setup!
