i just put in dsm blue tops with resistors on my turbo d15. i started up ok and ran, but when i went to move it;pretty much stalled out and wont start. im wondering if it would be my stock fuel pump? im running a vortec fmu. can any one give me insight? im new to honda turboing.

 

First, read the stickies.

Second, your problem is that your FMU is giving you more fuel pressure, and your injectors are flowing at a higher rate. Guess what's happening? Hint: Noah's ark, New Orleans + Katrina=?

when i pulled the plugs they werent fouled or wet. should i hook up the stock pressure reg?

 

yes, and you will also need to modify the fuelmaps in your ECU to run those injectors.

 

if i run the stock press reg, will it run so i could drive it back home?

 

Put your stock injectors and FMU back in to get it home.

 

Running DSM450cc without fuel management is like watering a daisy with a fire hose :1

 

how the ---- do you do all that work and not know to change maps?
