DSM injectors

Are the DSM 450cc injectors high or low impedence?

Re: DSM injectors

high, which is why you use the resistor box/ individual resistors

Re: DSM injectors

High is good for me, I have a Ford Focus, hahaha. So when picking injectors, does it have to have the exact same impedance or does it just have to be in the ballpark?

Re: DSM injectors

Also, what plug do they use? It wouldn't happen to be a Bosh EV1 would it? /wishful thinking

Re: DSM injectors

They are LOW IMPEDANCE which is why you have to run the resistor box. It adds resistance to keep the power drain low and not burn up the injector drivers.

Ah, well then ---- that.

You just have to keep it in the same ballpark, at least for a Honda ECU. I dunno about ford, chances are the stock injectors draw too much power for it's ecu :P

Re: DSM injectors

So will these injectors fit in my Focus? What do you guys do to get them to fit in your Hondas. I mean obviously DSM injectors can't be the same plug type as Honda's, or are they?

they're damn close, you just cut off a little tab, and your good

Re: DSM injectors

And on obd-0 cars they're plug and play, with the resistor box already installed.
