DSM flange measurements (searched)
I can't for the life of me find any specs on the manifold and downpipe flanges for a DSM 14b turbo. I've searched with the strings 14b 16g etc, DSM, eclipse, list goes on... still no pictures or even text giving out the bolt patterns. I do, however, have the precise measurements for non-dsm garret T25 flanges, T3's and T4's...go figure.
If anyone can post them, I'd be VERY happy. Otherwise I'll probably go buy then return the gaskets from an autostore or dealer. Thanks! |
Re: DSM flange measurements (searched)
People are acting like this is some guarded secret or something. I literally searched google, HMT and H-T for 2 days before posting. So far its actually turning into an exercise in ammusement - someone actually told me he wasn't in the habit of giving out his/her (proper pronoun, not a jab ::)) hard work. If doing some quick & dirty measurements of a gasket you have laying around is hard work, I should get an award each time I take a crap...

Aaron would probably have them since he makes adapter plates. PM him and ask.

I'd go out in my garage and measure a flange for you real quick but I just woke up ;)
Call these guys http://www.roadraceengineering.com They make dozens of flanges, and specialize in DSM's.. I'm sure they have the #'s right in front of them. Jeff |

Thanks, AbaZ, I'll give them a try. I already found their 7cm gasket page that gives the 6cm and 7cm gasket hole size as a real 55mm & 61mm. The biggest problem is that the closest DSM dealer that has parts on hand is 40 minutes away (mainly highway miles). I wish I had that much spare time, just thought there might be somebody willing to spend 5 minutes to save me an hour. |
