Default ::DSm BOV questions::

i was looking for one on ebay. i'm extremely limited in budget. is it necassary to get the BOV with the piping that it came with?? thanxx for your time!

no. you'll probably run larger charge pipe anyway. you can order the flange from road race engineering.

i have also seen the darkside and been enlightened
well not really but your set up is pretty coo
looked pretty nice but why did you put the BOV so low?
i thought you needed to keep it close to the intake manifold?
just thanking you for the link too cause they got a lot of stuff i was looking for


as for the BOV, like he said not necessary but if they are selling it with it, what the hell. take it. I think someone is still selling a couple in the classified fourms

it doesn't matter where you put it as long as it's there. probably better before the fmic so you don't have a bunch of turbulence going back and forth. i mainly put it there because i was using my existing aem cai for the upper chargepipe and it's aluminum and the bov flange/pipe is steel.

it shouldnt be hard at all to do a turbo kit in a $1000 budget! Just got to hit up the local junkyards. Hell im doing my whole kit for only like $400 and its pretty decent kit! Like I said before you just got to have patience and know were to look!
