DSM BOV question (friends 95 GST)
ok, my friend has a 95 GST.. anyways, he want's his BOV louder by taking off that hose that runs the pressure back into the intake side. So when he takes the hose off he gets this crappy idle and the car will shut off. Does it do this because of his MAP sensor..? Because the sensor is on the intake box and that comes before the BOV.. so I was thinking that maybe air is getting in AFTER that sensor? What's making it idle bad and what should he do to preven that?

Re:DSM BOV question (friends 95 GST)
since dsm's are maf not map, when you go open atmosphere it ***** them up a little...especially with the stock plastic bov that leaks when boosting...just make sure the original hole is plugged and then get a new bov eventually, but the idle will most likely still be bad and stalling can occur as well

I think the only way to make it work is get a AFC to adjust it, otherwise it will run like ----.. I've tried it on a few dsms. Gawd, think the bov's are loud on our cars, ---- they are about twice as loud on stock dsm's
