Do they clip right on or do I have to modify the clips some how. Cuz I tried to test fit them one time and they didn't seem to fit to good. In fact they wouldn't go on.

 

go to the homepageand click on tech projects, it has a hoe to no installing dsm injectors

 

You have to use a razor blade and cut a little part out of the injector. Then it will fit.

 

on the d16z6 you'll have to modify they clips on the 450s. if you look inside the blue tops there will be a chunk of plastic (on the top part of the injector...i think...maybe the bottom) neways...take a razor blade and cut out that lil piece of plastic and they'll slip right in like they are stock. in order to get them to go into the manifold is a different story. i bored out the inside of the seal that meets the injectors to the manifold until they fit in nice and easy, but not too easy. (but you prolly already know about that)

 

Yeah I know how to bore out the seals but now I know how to put the clips on. Thanks guys.

 

I just looked at the homepage injector seal write up and it does say that there is a tab that needs to be cut out. I never saw that before. I feel like a newbie.

 

I saw that too, but I thought it was for black tops (2g DSM) only. When I went to put my clips on, I was like WTF!!?!??!? A little cutting will work.
