"dry" and "wet" center sections...

well, i THINK ive blown the seals in my turbo via some high oil pressure and no restrictor vavle. little oil in the charge pipes and some slight smoking while driving.

it could be the new valve seals i just put on that is causing the smoke, but the oil in the charge pipes has always been there.

so i am in need of a rebuild kit or a rebuilt center section.

so i found a couple things on the net that stated a "dry" rebuilt center section or a "wet" rebuilt center section.

so does the "dry" mean just oil?
and the "wet" mean oil and coolant passages?

if this is correct, the center sections should be compatible with any "t3/t4" hybrid no mater what brand right?

hi,
that's correct, about the wet and dry. I had originally bought a wet center for my garrett t3 but it some how didn't get shipped so the seller ended up sending me a dry center instead. should work for garrett type t3's and t3/t4. I haven't installed mine yet as it just came in today.

Do those center sections come ready to run basically? I think I bought one from Vecco on Ebay and it came with no seals installed etc. I think I still have it someplace lol.
