drove car today and it didnt boost WTF?
 

i couldnt wait for the exhaust oppointment to drive my car so i took it for a spin with no down pipe. Idled fine drove fine.. when i tried to boost it didnt? i brought it all the way to 4000 rpm. didnt even hit 1psi on the boost guage. whats up? am i leaking a massive amount of boost somewhere?

when it went up to 4000 RPM were you driving? maybe it will not boost without load, and maybe you need to take it higher than 4000 RPM.

yea i was driving.. you cant build boost with out load unless your turbo is dinky.

Well of course i whould get a downpipe first then see what happens when u try to take it up throught the rpm's and see if it kicks in at all

You have to step on it WOT to see it boost at at low rpm's

wait a sec...your turbo was meant to have an internal though right (two holes on the exhaust side coming out)?...thats your problem, without a "blockoff" plate, you wont boost

good catch, i wouldn't of thought of that....esspecially with no down pipe, and the hole is just open = NO BOOST

i would T ur BOV off of the brake booster instead of the fuel pressure regulator... just my 2 cents

your wastegate is hooked up wrong. it needs to go from the wastegate thing on the side to the turbo and then T that off and run it to the intake manifold. should boost then

Mine wont boost either.Its a t3 with internal wastegate and no down pipe.I raped that thing and it wouldnt boost :-\.What gives ???

My exhaust mannifold gasket was too thin. It leaked exhaust before it ever got to the turbo... i didnt realise because my down pipe was off therefor it was loud up front. It boosts now... Fast ass hell i love it

I think your blow off valve was sitting open and leaking all the air out.
