Default drain fitting and JB weld

i just put my drain fitting in my oil pan but the hole was too big from the old steathmode fittings and the new ones are smaller. so i put it in and put a nut at the end and JB welded the ---- out of it. will that hold? i have used JB on just about everythign that i break/fix and it has always done good but i just don't know about the oil pan. don't know if the hot oil will affect it.

I have seen a lot of people add a little extra sealant with JB weld. I think you will be okay as long as the nut is holding most of the load.

yeah the nut is holding most of the load but i just used the JB to seal it up so it wont leak, just didn't knwo if the JB would hold with the oil getting hot.

the hole was a tiny bit bigger then then fittings so i figured JB should seal it good.

JB Weld is the **** of the gods! Its good stuff. My oil return is JB Welded all up and has held fine for at least 6 months.
