Downpipe question......

Hi, I'm in the process of putting a T25 on a 90 CRX Si and I thought I could use the dsm o2 housing, but it's too close to the crossmember. How could I make a downpipe or could I just take my car to a Merlins or Midas and have them make me a DP. I don't care what it looks like, just as long as it's cheap and it'll last for a while. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

hack it up...or get a flange and start from scratch

what piping should i use for the downpipe though? Also, can a shop weld to that cast iron the the stock o2 housing is made of.

yea you can weld to it although people say not to...use exhaust piping (aluminized steel) or stainless if you want
