VW guys do it all the time with both MLS and comp gaskets. Pretty common ---- really. The 2L 16v is 11:1 so you have to do something about it. I've seen people make over 300 on stacked gaskets. A little copper spray might help.

I've done this on composite gaskets. It works but it is nowhere near as strong as a single gasket.

TURBOHF...in case you didnt know, you can get cometic head gaskets that are thicker than stock. So instead of doubling up your stock head gaskets you can guy one cometic that is thicker than your stock giving you the same results as doubling up your stock gasket this is just safer.

Cometic is expensive...I think that's why he wants to try doubling the gasket.
This is HMT...not everyone has the money to buy some Cometic

My friend has stacked stock gaskets a few times with success. Held 15 psi from a t25 on a d16a6. Cracked ring lands before he blew the hg. So yes it does work on hondas.

Are you trying to be a smart ***? I don't remember saying it was good. You asked for thoughts or experiences

I don't think he's trying to be a smartass. The 15psi on a T25 is not good, your real world experience is good.
