Don't laugh, but do I hook-up my boost gauge to my charge pipe or do I tee- it-off of the hose that goes to my wastegate actuator? ???

2 ways ive noticed one would be to hook it up to the wastegate but this will only register boost, and the other would be to splice with a t connector off the BOV this will also register vac on the guage.

I cut my FPR vacuum line in half and took hooked up a brass-T to the line. Works for vac and boost :)

I aksed the same question because I needed a place to T into for my FMU. Jeff told me to use the line running to the intake manifold that goes to the fuel pressure regulator. There are 4 or 5 on the intake manifold that you can tap into. I have to tap ones for my FMU, BOV, Booost gauge. I was going to hook them up to the same line but I think that might be a little much. Does anyone know of any other sources?

pep boys has these plastic t fittings. get a small one. if you have a fmu get the one with 4 oulets.

its gonna look something like this

----I-----I------

the right hand side goes to the fpr. the left hand side goes to the intake manifold.

the other two pointing up will go to the boost guage and the fmu.

make sure they are tight. pep boys has this little black sleeve. one side goes on the fitting the other goes on the little clear plastic vacuum line. put some zip ties on it and make it tight.

i think i have pics of my mirage, i can show you.
or ask sirex if he has pics of his boost guage install, i did his as well.

thanks pics would be great. Do you think that is to much to be tapping 3 lines into the one line to the FPR?

as long as there isn't any leaks its fine.
plus u have to remember that the fp regulator is tapped into the intake manifold so its fine.

vacuum is vaccum kid.
