do you smell like exhaust?
 

every damn time i get out of my car i reak of exhaust. i cant figure out why i thought it was because of a small fuel leak i found but nope...then i thought it was because my oil pan gasket was leaking but nope... there arent any holes that arent pluged up in my fire wall and i have full exhaust with nothing more than 3 pin hole leaks and 1 in my charge piping if you cured your car doing it post up!

my gf says the same thing to me. i was stumped i never noticed it ??? but i bet its cuz im running just a little rich, and most likely have pinholes in my exhaust. thats wht you get when you DIY everythiing :y haha

fix whatever exhaust leak you have and you shouldnt have a problem

I stunk like it after a night of driving, car was open DP though. I think you'd need a sizable leak in order to smell like it.

i freakin wish! id run it inside my car if it did. hell id settle for 93 premix haha naah im running full exhaust all the way out the back. the small holes are behind the seats so i dont figure tahts what it is? i did notice that im pushing oil into my charge pipes and i kinda wonder if that doesnt have something to do with it i found another smalllllllll water leak tonight i have a cracked T for one of my heater hoses so that could also have something to do with it. ill let yall know what i come up with i just wanted to make sure i wasnt the only one. ill have some pics up of my homemade restrictor valve too O0

Wait you're not running a catch can? Get a husky water separator filter for like 10 bucks at home depot.

My friends always say that, but my crx is open d/p, open dump, venting the block to the groun etc

is your valve cover vented? if so where? mine gave off a stank oily gas smell i had to run the little filter breather to a tube way off to the bottom corner of my engine bay under the headlight

sounds like my kinda woman! naah i dont have a catch can its all vented to where the ---- ever i was thinking about making one yesterday at the homedepot while i was there but i ran out of time ill give that a shot i appriciate it

Use the 'recycled air' button (should be next to A/C and has a orange instead of green backlight) on your climate control. I had a vented catch can and I couldn't go without having that on. My new can is sealed though so I should be straight. Probably catchcan.

You can slightly smell it in my car when the vents are on fresh air, but it's not so bad where you smell like it when you leave the car. It's probably coming from my valve cover breather but it's not strong enough for me to care.

how many of you have your boosted cars as your DD? i was messing around with it tonight and i found another water leak...i swear if it isnt one thing its 10 it looks like just an intake manifold gasket...maybe i can tighten it up or something its one of those shitty exhaust manifold gasket type gaskets. ive had tags on it for 3 weeks and have only drove it maybe a total of 10 hrs IF that...but i guess thats what i get for not buying an SRT 4 huh? hopefuly ill have a post up with a few pics of it tonight

Buy silicone gasket sealant. Yes, they aren't the most reliable cars/set-ups. Do things right and careful then it will be a decent ride. Mine is a DD.
