do i have to hook up the top nipple on TIAL WGs?

trying to install a MBC but the top nippe is hitting the hood.
is there anyway that i can just hook up the MBC to the nipple on the side?

pritty shure the side is for a mbc and the top port is for an electronic one. mine is also hitting my hood,im either going to get a 90deg. barb fitting that will fit, or totally take it out. just dont want anything falling into my wg.

Yeah, use the side one. You can just leave the top one unhooked.
