DIY map sensors

I can't decide if I should get a 4bar map sensor kit from xenocron, or just order one premade from omnipower...
my soldering skills arent the best.

tell me what to do.

Well if you can't solder, don't get one that you have to solder.

That took me a while to write.

Because the OP must be your cousin asking such a simple question.

"Hey I want to be either an engineer or a farmer, but I can't do math. Tell me which one to do guys"

Re: DIY map sensors

we have the premade (hondata) ones too...if you cant solder well i wouldnt recommend the DIY ones, the spots you need to solder on the board are pretty small.

I'll sell you a MAP sensor for $20 more than Jay quotes you. Let me know.

If you can't solder you probably shouldn't be turboing a car.

I wouldn't go that far. It's not a completely necessary skill for installing a homemadeturbo setup.

Nope not at all but soldering is a good skill to have. I have done alot of ecu's for people who did the tuning themselves just didnt want to deal with soldering end.

Whatever xenocron sells will be a better deal than the omni stuff price wise for sure.

Soldering is a good skill, but I know I'm capable (not financially) of putting a turbo setup together and wouldn't touch my ECU. Mostly because, it's cheaper for me to pay someone else to do the soldering than risk ------- an ECU.

I learned all my soldering on old pm5 boards and hf ecu's before I touched anything worth money

I said I wasnt the best at it, not that I couldnt do it.. I just saw the size of the ---- in the diy map and though I would probably be in over my head...
