Disappointing dyno

I just dynoed my car and my numbers are a little low for my turbo. My whp was 152 and tourque 155 at 4500rpm. Shouldn't i be in the 180whp range with this size of turbo? I think it's that spring i used to hold the wastegate flapper down becasue it spikes to 10psi and then levels out at 6 psi. I think if i fix the wastegate and upgrade intercooler and charge pipes, it'll do the trick... what do you guys think.
Setup:
-D16z6
-T3(.60/.63)
-fmic (about the size of a dsm smic)
-2 1/4 inch charge pipes
-leaking log mani
-460 cc injectors
-base map (not really tuned... gets me 30 miles a gallon daily driving and boosting)

Even on 6 psi with a turbo that big you should be making more power. If you were at the dyno why are you still running a basemap? Tune that ----, son

You also said your log mani leaks, that is not helping you one bit. Fix that ---- too, son

Id say fix that mani get a bigger FMIC and biiger charge pipes and get that ---- tuned. You should be hitting higher Hp numbers

Re: Disappointing dyno

I'd have it tuned alrdy but tuner won't be able to tune till next week or so. I dynoed it b/c it was free dyno day so couldn't resist a free dyno even on a base map. But that leak shouldn't affect whp as much. My first dyno that day, my gasket (part where turbo mounts onto the mani) blew so it was hella loud. I dynoed it without knowing that it blew until after the dyno and i hit 148.2 whp but lost hella tourque (140 tourque). I really think it's the charge pipes and intercooler. Should i go 3 inch or 2 1/2 inches on the charge pipes w/ starion intercooler?

Boost leaks will rob you of power.

It is hard to say without more info (like a dyno sheet with afr's) but my best guess would be to fix your manifold.

Exhaust leaks own you so badly. I forgot to tighten one bolt down on my exhaust manifold and my car pulled like ----. Tightened it up about 5 turns (so it was completely tight) and it was like night and day.

im suffering from horrible boost leaks right now hehe. damn thing feels like a tea kettle just sitting at idle. and my spool time is more then twice as slow as it should be 8) god i can't wait to pull everything back off lol

ive had leaks and i know for a fact the car doesnt pull nearly as hard as it should, even if it is only a 1-2 psi leak

Re: Disappointing dyno

I guess it is that exhuast leak robbing my power. Maybe even leaks from the charge pipes that i'm unaware of but all that's going out. I'm upgrading charge pipes and getting hf mani. Hopefully after these upgrades and a proper tune I'll get the hp this turbo is suppose to make.

You guys always forget the most important part, compression. When was the last time you did a compression test on your motor? What about a leakdown test?
