Default Digital EGT Unit *Came in Fast* With Pic Now

Any idea how good this would be, stumbled across it as I was looking for Thermocouples. The Range is correct, but altogether will it be sufficient?

Ya I decide to give it a try. It's only 25.00 so if it's no good I'll resell it on ebay.

I also have a Spearco EGT Gauge that I just got 2 probes in for, but they are a funny mouning style so I was looking for something better when I found this. We'll see how they compare to eachother.

Fastest SHippingI have ever gotten!!!!

Heres some pics:
The unit itself. Not as nice as a small round guage, but it has datlogging capabilitie. I din't pay the extra 50.00 for it, but it still has an output. Hopefully it voltage, and hopefully it's amplified because thermocouples act in millivolt for temp changes sometimes. If it's amplified I have a Voltmeter with Datalogging Capabilities too.
The unit: with my thermocouple connected to it.

The shitty one it came with!

Here are mine. I didn't realize the Eyelet style mount. A little pissed about that. I have to fiqure out a way to mount it in the manifold. Any Ideas? Or I might buy a new proper one.

Hopefulyy I can get to testing it soon for results.

can you egt from post turbo? like an inch or so into the dp or is it best to do it from the mani?

so the 'eyelet' end is the probe?

its most accurate when you're reading from the mani.

Hmmm.... if i find something cheaper >50, i might buy 4 of these for individual cylinder tuning...
But yeah, for the mounting this, you could make a "boss" out of a hollow rod with the same ID with the wire probe and weld it permanently on the mani.
