differnt turbo manifold design
kinda cool lookin
kits provide a reliable and daily drivable 425rwhp (on 91 octane pump gas) and 600rwhp (730bhp) with the flip of a switch on race fuel. With a completely plug-n-play turbo system and with no engine internals or exhaust systems required to produce this kind of power,
i cant even guess what they want for this kit, well i can, probly like 10k, maybe there site shows.. who cares

Re: differnt turbo manifold design
i know them.
tey're called steed speed
they make such manifolds for different cars and it's always some highly CNC'd parts welded together. The runners are tuned with all kind of velocity pockets and stuff.
They also make this BOV that mounts without couplers IN LINE with the IC pipe and when it opens, that big ring with the logo on it shifts forward and air comes out from all around the pipe through a serie of angled slots. not through a 90° pipe like all other bovs.
yes, they make nice products and it's all designed and produced in canada.

Re: differnt turbo manifold design
The guys from steed speed came to meet me at the shop this summer, I am helping them with turbocharger stuff. They specialize in s2000 but they make such high tech manifolds for a growing amount of applications.
their stuff is so neet, i am now retailing their products and they will be featured on the new blaastperformance website that will be released soon. in the mean time, PM me if interrested.
Yes, the manifolds are pricey, at least as much as a tig welded ramhorn from a reputable shop, but they are claimed to perform even better. I can't confirm that yet but just look at this b series manifold that flushes all 4 runners equally with the same wastegate...

Re: differnt turbo manifold design
Why all the hate? It's like the best of both worlds, gangster and simple like a log, but efficient like a tubular manifold.
Kinda like a mullet combined with a comb over.
Wait...who would want that?
For real though I think this ---- is cool, the B series manifold is real sleeper, kinda looks like an HF manifold.

Re: differnt turbo manifold design
It's just a log that probably cost 10x more than most other cast logs, works maybe 5-10% better, and probably still costs more than some tuned equal length tubular manifolds, I'd bet. Saw their ---- once in the last SEMA issue of SCC, but I don't remember if I saw a price.
