different turbos different forces?

I was wondering if different turbos put different forces on your engine is 7psi on a t25 the same as having 7psi on a 16g is it the cfm's that blow motors or the psi. I know its all about tuning. just want to clear this up. running on a 2000 si dont want to blow it

Re:different turbos different forces?

boost doesn't blow up your car...it could blow head gaskets...
Detonation...brakes ringlands, sleeves and damage rod bearings and then the rod goes, or making to much power could snap the rod's.
And yes 7psi on a 16G is different than 7psi on a T25...
It has to do with the CFM's it pushes out...wheel trim etc etc..and efficiency at that boost level.I would go with the 16G on a B16...the T25 is too small and you won't even be able to rev it like normal

yes. 7 is a nice low-medium level for most engines.

7 psi will take half your hp and add that to your current, Correct?
