Didnt know what to search for...
I have a stupid question, its prolly been covered but here goes... On a Boosted B16 do you still notice the Vtec actuation as if it were NA but with a ---- load more of a kick, or does the kick go away since your boosting??
I don't understand why it would go away, im not takin VTEC off
Ive been told both sides... thats the only reason i asked. I would think it would juss be a crazy *** kick when VTEC actuates. But thats juss me
Thanx for the reply RENR, any B series out there??

you would think by definition it would become a more pronounced switch over, maybe not as loud, but I wouldn't know cause i've never felt Vtec in my life, so don't listen to me..........Bump
Boost creates more power than VTEC so you don't really feel the VTEC kicking in anymore. You can actually loose HP with boost and VTEC cause VTEC has more overlap that robs HP from a turbo car.
Than again I didn't know you could feel any power from a B16

On my SOHC I can feel no difference when VTEC kicks in but you also gotta keep in mind I'm still raising in boost so the whole "***" sliming thing is still occuring.
My friend has a Supercharged Civic Si, and on that thing he will reach 10 psi before VTEC kicks in and you can feel the kick immediately.
You will also on the DOHC engines, notice the difference, definitely, on any dyno.
