Hello

I'm home for Christmas and I used TurboEdit to tune my rex with the smooth boost transition rom. First I had the ignition set to 1.00 deg per PSI, now it's 0.60 deg per psi and the detonation is exactly the same... Since I'm getting more power at .60, I'll keep it there, but I believe my problem is the spark plugs. I'm using bosch 4's... What sparkplug would y'all recommend for the best price?

What are you running for gas Pep? I'd try new plugs also and see what that does.

I'm using premium gas.

Yeah, I'm just using bosch 4's with standard replacement wires.

BTW, the power increase from 1.00 to 0.60 was pretty sweet, and I've up'ed the boost a few psi whooo

 

Last we heard was Kaneda13 was gonna have a baby. After that, never saw him again. I even e-mailed him to see how things were going and got no reply. I miss the weekend update.

 

deff. ngk's not to jack the thread but how can you determine steps hotter and colder, the numbers on the plug?

 

I know everyone loves ngks, but a mechanic I know hates them. My car was running like ---- with some ngks, we switched plugs and it runs alot better now. I don't remember which ones we got, I think they are the nascar ones.
