This will not raise the boost, it would just create a more responsive wastegate and perform better.

You can build your own boost controller for under 5 bucks using brass fittings and a ball bearing. I personally would reccomend you save the money and get an electronic boost controller cause I heard horror stories with ghetto controllers. I have the Blitz SCB ID and it was more than my whole twin turbo kit but I think it was worth it. You can adjust boost to .10 of a pound, has a digital readout and a peak and hold display so you don't have to guess on how much boost you were running

LOL I haven't tried to sell them on HMT cause I don't want to try and do business on here and seem like I'm here just to sell ---- ;D

BTW- Check out the Turbonetics website, that's the EXACT same boost controller they sell for like $65.

Tell me if you guys would want a HMT groupbuy for something like this.

HONESTLY, how does that thing work???

Yesterday made muhself a MBC... costed me 8US$, according to this schematic:
http://www.geocities.com/chmwatson/FAQs/mbc.html

What can I say... best 8US$ you can spend on yr turbo setup!!! That thing is just AWESOME! Turbo spools much much much faster now, and also hit full boost much sooner!
OK, it spikes for less than 0.5psi (not always), so this really isn't a issue.. but the gain.. wow!
Now at 1/3 of throttle I hit already full boost after 2500rpm!

That's funny... I've heard horror stories with electronic boost controllers (especially apex'i) but never heard of any problems with mbc. I spent $10 at home depot making mines and it works perfectly... there a 100 write-ups on this site with how to make one - maybe you should check one out...
