DeltaGate WG question
If i were to use a Deltagate or Tial WG that has a spring that is set to 10 psi. And if i were to use an electronic boost controller. Is it true that it doesnt matter what psi the spring is set to as long as i got the boost controller? The boost controller can dial in to any PSI i want?

Re: DeltaGate WG question
yep normally when you want to raise boost.. though ive see description of AVC-R that has a option where you can to low the boost too.

Re: DeltaGate WG question
so i can just disregard what psi the spring is set to?

Re: DeltaGate WG question
No the spring is the low setting, period.

Re: DeltaGate WG question
like it was said you cant go lower then 10 and I read somewere that you shouldn't go more then double the spring because it becomes unstable but I dont know that one for sure.

Re: DeltaGate WG question
so i should use a higher psi spring and just adjust the boost controller for a lower setting?

Re: DeltaGate WG question
No, you don't get it.
You can only raise the boost with a boost controller. Get the spring for the LOWEST boost you want to run, and you can raise it with a boost controller. |
Re: DeltaGate WG question
you can lower boost. ive done it. installed a MBC on an STi and bottomed it out....took it out for a drive and hit 9psi max.
