allright, so i know you guys are VERY opinionated, so thats what im looking to get from you here....


i have seen a few comments about Deltagates and that you think they are crap.

why? reasons? results? examples?


i currently have a deltagate and i dont think i have had any issues with it and i am wondering what i should notice as being a problem with it.

i had one and the top half that holds the spring and diafram down, actually cracked :P so i jb welded it from the inside and sold it on ebay for twice as much as i paid for it. no to mention, they're ugly as ----

 

i heard they spike pretty bad, id just got with a tial, they are AWESOME :P

 

i had one on my gsr and the ------ thing would spike at 15 psi sometimes when it was only supposed to hit 9 psi, i ------ hate those piece of ---- wastgates, get a tial thats were it's at

 

yeah a few people I know ran deltagate before and they said they had alot of spiking problem. Tial is where it's at!

 

I thought they were called "deltacreep" not deltagate.

 

well, i have spiked once, but i dont think it was from the WG. there were some kids poking around my car at the track one day and my buddy was out there talking to them and pointing things out while i took a nap in the car. on the very next run, a couple hours later, i hit 15 psi and was like wtf!

turned down the MBC a little and she was right back to 10psi.

i think one of them may have "played" with the cool little **** under my hood.

------- *******, because 2 runs later, BOOM, HG blew out.

i never planned to run 15 psi since i know the HG would have blown. well it did, lol

i do have a kind of "shaky" boost needle. it woobles at full boost between 10 and 11 psi. it never did that until the MBC was put on.

so i dont think my WG is problematic
