heres the deal my delsol has a b20/vtec and i have just about finished my d16 vitara ls rod build, i plan on selling my sol but want to boost it first, so what are your opinions, boost the b20 or swap the d16 and boost it
i really dont want to boost the d16 in the sol because i have put alot of work into it and if i put it in the sol it will be gone in a few months
b20 turbo wouldbe my 300td benz turbo on 8 psi stock clutch
d16 would be on my 16g w/ aftermarket clutch at 15+ psi

have parts for both engines to run but am undecided because i want to keep the d16 because its my first engine build and i need to sell the sol to buy a truck

sell it. all of it. buy a geo metro and a bunch of crack. turbos are old news now man. its all about the electric superchargers. no spool lag and great power gains. we just forgot to change the name to homemadeelectricsuperchargers.com

if you are planning on selling the car, leave the b20 in it. Find a decent hatch/crx, drop the d16, turbo, be happy. thats what I would do.

Or trade teh sol for another car that you can work with.
