One of my pintle caps is cracked, I just left it on there but i've been told to just rip it off and be done with it, I've run them without pintle caps before but I have no idea weather it really afects anything or not. they must be on there for a reason though.

 

nope, your fine to just run the injectors with out any pintle caps. They're just on there to let the incoming air flow around the injector... but in my opinion, it dosen't hurt to let the air mix with the fuel right away with out the caps on there... just take all the pintle caps off.
